Expert cleaning:
We professionally hand clean your oriental rugs.
This is particularly important with older rugs that need special
care. First, we beat the back of the rug until we are satisfied
that we have extracted as much of the built in dirt as possible.
Next, we wash with soap and water the back and then the front of
the rug. Finally, we vacuum the soap from the rug and let it air
dry naturally.
Expert repair/restoration:
We have been providing expert repair
to handmade rugs for fifty years. Whether it be a simple binding
or a larger task of reweaving a hole in a rug, our repair person
is capable of providing the care needed.
Appraisals:
We do both written and verbal appraisals. In most
instances, appraisals are furnished for insurance purposes and
our letterhead and seal stamp are acceptable to all insurance companies
for replacement value of your rug.
