Kaoud Carpets & Rugs was recommended to me by a fellow designer after I relocated to the area and was looking for a great place to bring my clients. I have been going to them and working with Fred for the past 6+ months and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They have a really big selection of high quality rugs in a lot of different styles, but also do custom, carpeting, and flooring. Fred really does have a one stop shop, but it is the customer service that really makes me a loyal customer. We needed solutions for our home after my wife fell on our dangerously beautiful hardwood floors resulting in a serious broken leg. Fred helped us select a number of beautiful area rugs and some custom designed solutions for stairs and walkways that now provide safe but beautiful floors that accent our hardwood. He brought several choices out to our home so we could see what they looked like in our home and was patient as we tried a couple times before settling on what worked best for us. The installation was professional as they consulted with us and advised us on several decisions that needed to be made to ensure a quality result that suited the limitations of some of the spaces.

Kaoud Carpets and Rugs did an absolutely phenomenal job cleaning and restoring a hand-knit wool rug that I had shipped from AZ. It was beyond dirty, full of dust. I am sure it hadn't been cleaned in years (if ever!). When they delivered it to my home, it looked like a brand-new rug. The colors were vivid, and it feels soft under foot. I am so thrilled they took such wonderful care of this rug that is precious to me because it was my parents'. I would not trust anyone else with my rugs. From the very beginning, as soon as I walked in the door, my experience with Fred Kaoud and Kaoud Carpets & Rugs has been nothing but exceptional. I had to have a very fine rug that has been in my family for over 35 years cared for. Unfortunately, it had suffered significant damage from both water and moths. Thankfully only around the edges. At first, I wanted to just stop the bleeding, but what Fred and his very talented in house weaver suggested, although radical, brought my family heirloom back to its former glory. Pictures can not even come close to describing the end result. The outside border was removed, the edges rebound and fringe overcasted. The rug is now absolutely perfect with no compromises or imperfections. Although now a bit smaller in size, it is a remarkable piece that has been brought back to its former glory.
