It's rare now-a-days to get the quality of service and product that you receive from the Kaouds. As soon as you walk into the store, you receive quality service with a smile and most importantly, patience. They are very calm and quite professional. No pressure to buy either.
I just purchased wall-to-wall carpet for our family room. I assumed that they only sold orientals, but I was wrong. My friend had told me to go see what they had. She was also looking for broadloam for a staging job she was doing in Weston and was quite happy with what she found. I had purchased an oriental rug from them years ago and was quite happy then. So I decided to go there to see their selection. I was pleasantly surprised with their vast selection of sisals and jutes! I wanted a modern contemporary look and they had it all. Joanne Kaoud even offered to come to my home with a variety of samples. She came with an arm full of choices, with a big smile on her face, so I could see them in the room. We even had coffee together. Those little things mean a lot! I'm from Minneapolis and out East you don't always get the quality service that I received from the Kaouds. The carpet looks fabulous! Better that I ever expected! Plus with the scrap, Fred Kaoud suggested that they bind the edges and now I have an extra rug in the parlor!

Our family just used Kaoud Carpets to install a stair runner and for an area rug. After visiting a few different carpet stores, we chose to go with Kaoud and could not be happier with our decision. Fred and his team are beyond friendly and helpful and they had a great selection to choose from. Removal and installation was top notch as well! Kaoud did an amazing job on our rugs. The rugs were very soiled but Kaoud washed them repeatedly over several weeks and when they were returned they looked, and felt like they have never been used. There were no odors of any sort either. Just fresh clean rugs. Excellent service. - 8/29/2020 

We had a large vintage kilim that had holes in it. We couldn't decide whether to spend the money to get it fixed or to buy a new rug. We ended up having our rug repaired and cleaned by Kaoud and we're thrilled with the results! They custom dyed the yarns for a perfect match to reweave the deteriorated areas (there were many). We just got the rug back yesterday and they really delivered everything they promised; it is now something we'll keep forever. Nice, knowledgable people, and they didn't pressure us at all. We have been Kaoud customers since the late 1960's when they were located in Milford, CT; and , then went to their new showroom in Wilton when it opened in the late 1980's. No words can adequately express the professionalism of this family owned company. They recently went "above and beyond" in helping us with an unusual situation with one of our Karastan rugs. We thank them so much for their assistance. Not only are the owners wonderful people to deal with; but also, their pick-up and delivery team is great, and the way they solved a carpet placement in my home recently was outstanding. A leaking water pipe caused considerable damage to carpeting in our basement family room. Total replacement of carpeting and padding was needed. We shopped several carpeting stores then found desirable products at Kaoud Rugs in West Hartford. The sales person, Christina L********, came to our home , measured all open areas, closets and stairs. The price was acceptable. When installation occurred, I was impressed at the concern for detail and precision performed by the crew. I cannot find a flaw at the stairs, around lolly columns, at doorways or closet entries. They did a very good installation. Maurice Kaoud helped finalize communication with our insurance. We are pleased with all interactions with Kaoud Rugs of West Hartford. - 12/10/2021
