KAOUD Carpets & rugs

We went to Kaoud to purchase carpeting based on reviews we saw here in Google. We were not disappointed. Service in the store and in our home was excellent. Fred was extremely responsive and thorough in addressing all of our questions, keeping us up-to-date on delivery times, and ensuring installation as quickly as possible. Candido’s installation was highly professional, on time as promised, and expertly performed. Fred Kaoud and Kaoud Carpets in Wilton gave excellent service. We originally purchased our living room and dining room carpets from them many years ago. This was the first time we sent the rugs out to be cleaned. Fred kept us informed via e-mail. They picked up and delivered our carpets, and refringed the 10x14 ft carpet. They had to do multiple extractions and included new pads. We had an old stain from dropping a green bean casserole on one rug many years ago and they did an excellent job of removing the stain. The two delivery men, Ben and Jose, did a wonderful job and were very professional. We appreciated that they wore masks. I would highly recommend Kaoud Carpets in Wilton. - 7/22/2020

It's rare now-a-days to get the quality of service and product that you receive from the Kaouds. As soon as you walk into the store, you receive quality service with a smile and most importantly, patience. They are very calm and quite professional. No pressure to buy either.
I just purchased wall-to-wall carpet for our family room. I assumed that they only sold orientals, but I was wrong. My friend had told me to go see what they had. She was also looking for broadloam for a staging job she was doing in Weston and was quite happy with what she found. I had purchased an oriental rug from them years ago and was quite happy then. So I decided to go there to see their selection. I was pleasantly surprised with their vast selection of sisals and jutes! I wanted a modern contemporary look and they had it all. Joanne Kaoud even offered to come to my home with a variety of samples. She came with an arm full of choices, with a big smile on her face, so I could see them in the room. We even had coffee together. Those little things mean a lot! I'm from Minneapolis and out East you don't always get the quality service that I received from the Kaouds. The carpet looks fabulous! Better that I ever expected! Plus with the scrap, Fred Kaoud suggested that they bind the edges and now I have an extra rug in the parlor!

Kaoud (and Fred specifically) was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and excellent customer service, not to mention they did a great job cleaning our rug. I felt Fred went above and beyond, even sending us photo updates throughout the cleaning process. Our rug, which was very overdue for a cleaning, is noticeably more vibrant and softer. We felt very safe having our rug cleaned during the COVID crisis, Kaoud took extra precautions and still turned our rug around very quickly. Prices were in line with industry standard. Kaoud will be our go-to shop for oriental rug cleaning in the future and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. - 6/02/2020 

We had a large vintage kilim that had holes in it. We couldn't decide whether to spend the money to get it fixed or to buy a new rug. We ended up having our rug repaired and cleaned by Kaoud and we're thrilled with the results! They custom dyed the yarns for a perfect match to reweave the deteriorated areas (there were many). We just got the rug back yesterday and they really delivered everything they promised; it is now something we'll keep forever. Nice, knowledgable people, and they didn't pressure us at all. Our family just used Kaoud Carpets to install a stair runner and for an area rug. After visiting a few different carpet stores, we chose to go with Kaoud and could not be happier with our decision. Fred and his team are beyond friendly and helpful and they had a great selection to choose from. Removal and installation was top notch as well! Fred Kaoud Jr. was very responsive to my inquiries and extremely knowledgeable. The Kaoud team carefully removed many years of dust and hand washed our precious heirloom. Kaoud Carpets and Rugs did an absolutely phenomenal job cleaning and restoring a hand-knit wool rug that I had shipped from *** It was beyond dirty, full of dust. I am sure it hadn't been cleaned in years (if ever!). When they delivered it to my home, it looked like a brand-new rug. The colors were vivid, and it feels soft under foot. I am so thrilled they took such wonderful care of this rug that is precious to me because it was my parents'. I would not trust anyone else with my rugs. Whether you have modest rugs or expensive heirlooms, Kaoud Carpets will handle them with care and return them to you spotlessly clean. The tired and dusty little hall rug I left off at Kaoud's was a beauty when unrolled there a short time later. The background red glowed, and the rose, pink, green, and cream colors in the center were bright and clean. And, the ends were repaired. Fred K*** was a pleasure to meet, generous with his time. He explained the rug's background, how it would be cleaned and repaired. And suggested the best option for a rug pad; a pleasure to my bare feet! We built our retirement home in North Carolina, I made sure that I purchased my rugs from Kaoud Carpets & Rugs! Fred Kaoud Jr has an amazing eye for color selections and he can recommendation rugs based on your style. He has been spot on with our selections. Whether you are looking for a runner, carpet for stairs, or showcase pieces for your living areas their selections are amazing! We even got our outdoor rugs for our screened porch. Every year when we travel back up to CT, we make a point of stopping by the Wilton store to check out the inventory and to catch up with the Kaouds!
