Kaoud Carpets & Rugs was recommended to me by a fellow designer after I relocated to the area and was looking for a great place to bring my clients. I have been going to them and working with Fred for the past 6+ months and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They have a really big selection of high quality rugs in a lot of different styles, but also do custom, carpeting, and flooring. Fred really does have a one stop shop, but it is the customer service that really makes me a loyal customer. He and Fred Sr are both really kind, down to earth people, that go above and beyond for their clients, I could not recommend them and the quality of their products more.

From the very beginning, as soon as I walked in the door, my experience with Fred Kaoud and Kaoud Carpets & Rugs has been nothing but exceptional. I had to have a very fine rug that has been in my family for over 35 years cared for. Unfortunately, it had suffered significant damage from both water and moths. Thankfully only around the edges. At first, I wanted to just stop the bleeding, but what Fred and his very talented in house weaver suggested, although radical, brought my family heirloom back to its former glory. Pictures can not even come close to describing the end result. The outside border was removed, the edges rebound and fringe overcasted. The rug is now absolutely perfect with no compromises or imperfections. Although now a bit smaller in size, it is a remarkable piece that has been brought back to its former glory. Their pricing is competitive with any of the large retailers. I was able to get a high end product at a price I could afford. Besides stocking an impressive selection of oriental carpets, they offer an extensive variety of broadloom carpets as well as hardwoods, laminates and other flooring - something I did not realize until I got there. I am happy to have discovered Kaoud in Wilton because now I know it is the only place I need to go for carpeting or flooring. We had a large vintage kilim that had holes in it. We couldn't decide whether to spend the money to get it fixed or to buy a new rug. We ended up having our rug repaired and cleaned by Kaoud and we're thrilled with the results! They custom dyed the yarns for a perfect match to reweave the deteriorated areas (there were many).
