Kaoud Carpets & Rugs was recommended to me by a fellow designer after I relocated to the area and was looking for a great place to bring my clients. They have a really big selection of high quality rugs in a lot of different styles, but also do custom, carpeting, and flooring. From the very beginning, as soon as I walked in the door, my experience with Fred Kaoud and Kaoud Carpets & Rugs has been nothing but exceptional. I had to have a very fine rug that has been in my family for over 35 years cared for. Unfortunately, it had suffered significant damage from both water and moths. Thankfully only around the edges. At first, I wanted to just stop the bleeding, but what Fred and his very talented in house weaver suggested, although radical, brought my family heirloom back to its former glory. Pictures can not even come close to describing the end result. The outside border was removed, the edges rebound and fringe overcasted. The rug is now absolutely perfect with no compromises or imperfections. Although now a bit smaller in size, it is a remarkable piece that has been brought back to its former glory.
